'No break in the horizon': Deepika Padukone talks about her five big buck films

Deepika Padukone is currently busy with the shoot of her forthcoming film which is Shakun Batra directorial. Amid that, it was reported that the actor has kickstarted the Pathan shoot with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. Deepika is currently busy with multiple projects and has about five films in her kitty. Now during a recent interaction, DP spoke at length about getting back to work during the coronavirus pandemic and juggling between projects.

Deepika told Hindustan Times, "It feels absolutely great to be back on set and do what I love doing the most - performing in front of the camera."

Talking about multiple projects in her kitty, DP shared, "From this point, I have multiple films lined up, so there is certainly no break in the horizon. All my films have been already locked and decided upon, but I can't talk about all of them right now."

Deepika further spoke about her busy 2021. She stated, "Early next year, I start my film with Nag Ashwin. As everyone knows right now, I am busy with Shakun's next. After that, there is a film lined up, which will be announced soon. So I will be constantly at work now, minus any breather."

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone's next release is Kabir Khan's 83 in which she plays the role of Romi Dev. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the leading role and reunites the couple after two years on the big screen.

Deepika also has The Intern remake and Draupadi as her upcoming films.
