Unconfirmed sources have said that Ajay plays a pilot in the film. Interestingly, Ajay is also playing an IAF officer in his upcoming movie 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India'. Rakul Preet will be seen as a co-pilot in the film, billed as an edge-of-the-seat drama. Details about Big B's character is under wraps.

The movie is being produced by Ajay Devgn's Ajay Devgn Films. Apart from producing, Devgn is also directing the film. The actor had turned a director with his movie 'Shivaay', which, a Diwali release, had fared average at the Box Office.

According to sources, 'MayDay' will go on floors this December in Hyderabad after Ajay completes his work on 'Bhuj'.  Bachchan Senior, on the other hand, is currently shooting for KBC. He is also yet to shoot a few of his scenes in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'.

On the work front, while Ajay's film 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' is the highest grosser of 2020, Amitabh Bachchan's movie 'Gulabo Sitabo' started the trend of releasing films on OTT platforms.
