'Durgamati' Bhumi Pednekar looks fierce in motion poster; here's when trailer will be out

After sharing the first look and the streaming date of Bhumi Pednekar starrer Durgamati, Akshay Kumar unveiled the motion poster of the film. In the new post, Bhumi is seen in a fierce look wearing a red saree with matching salwar and holding a Trishul in her hand. She is wearing a 'nath' and left her long locks open while giving an intense look. Bhumi is sitting on a snake-headed throne and webs all around it.

Akshay shared the motion poster with a caption stating, "It's payback time! Get ready to meet #DurgamatiOnPrime on Dec 11, @primevideoin. Along with the motion poster, the makers also announced that the trailer will be out tomorrow that is, November 25, 2020.

The tagline of Durgamati is 'The Myth' and will be streamed from December 11, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.

Durgamati also stars Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta, Mahie Gill, Karan Kapadia and others in pivotal roles. 

The film is directed by Ashok and produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, T-Series' Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Abundantia Entertainment's Vikram Malhotra.

As per reports, Durgamati is the Hindi remake of hit South film Bhagamathie starring Anushka Shetty in the titular role. 

Talking about the premise of the film, it's described as "Durgamati is a thrilling, scary ride that tells the story of an innocent Government officer who is made the victim of a major conspiracy involving powerful forces."
