Aditya Narayan has spilled details about his December wedding with Shweta Agarwal in a new interview
Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal are all set to tie the knot in the matter of days. Aditya has confirmed that he is getting married to his long-time girlfriend Shweta Agarwal this year, on December 1.
The actor revealed that they would have a temple wedding with 50 people, followed by a small reception. The restriction in attendees comes in light of COVID-19 regulations.
Talking to SpotboyE, Narayan shared, "We’re getting married on 1 December. Because of Covid-19, we can invite only close family and friends, since Maharashtra does not allow more than 50 guests at a wedding. It will be a very simple temple wedding and a small reception after that. Can’t call too many guests because of Covid. It will mostly be a family affair with a few friends from the film television and music fraternity whom I must invite."
"It’s an entirely new chapter in my life. I am looking forward to my life with Shweta. We’ve known each for 12 years and we’ve been dating for 10 years. In a way we complete the puzzle of life by being the missing jigsaw pieces... that’s what people say. A lot of emotions churning within me. We know each other as boyfriend-girlfriend, but people say things change after marriage. So let’s see," he mentioned.
Aditya had mentioned about his December wedding in his Instagram post earlier this month. He had made his relationship with Shweta Instagram official while also sharing the month of their wedding.
Narayan junior posted a popular image of him giving Shweta a back hug. Aditya could be seen in a blue shirt with denims and black sneakers. Shweta, on the other hand, wore a yellow off-shoulder dress.
The couple smiled while posing in a restaurant. Posting the image, Aditya wrote, "We are getting married! I am the luckiest man alive to have found Shweta, my soulmate, 11 years ago & we are finally tying the knot in December."
Aditya also mentioned taking a break from social media till they prep for the wedding for a month. He shared, "We are both extremely private people & believe that it’s best to keep one’s private life, well, private. Taking a break from social media for shaadi prep. See you in December"
In an interview to Times of India, Aditya Narayan had shared, "I met Shweta on the sets of Shaapit and we hit it off instantly. Slowly and gradually, I realised I was head-over-heels in love and started pursuing her. Initially, she wanted to be 'just friends', because we were both very young and needed to focus on our careers. Like every relationship, we have seen a lot of ups-and-downs over the last 10 years. Marriage is just a formality between us now, which hopefully should also happen by November or December. My parents know Shweta and like her a lot. I am happy that I have found my soulmate in her."
Aditya Narayan is most popular for his song 'Tattad Tattad'. He is also the son of veteran singer Udit Narayan. Aditya was also hosting Indian Idol. Co-incidentally, his name was often linked to judge Neha Kakkar's, who also got married some time back to Rohanpreet Singh. Also, Aditya's wedding announcement comes at a time when the next season of 'Indian Idol' is announced and ready to take off.
While Neha met Rohanpreet during one of her tours in Punjab, Aditya had been in a relationship with Shweta since over a decade. They met on the sets of the film 'Shaapit'. Aditya had revealed that Shweta was hesitant about the relation back then mainly because they were both young.
