Bollywood actor Rahul Roy suffered brain stroke and is in a critical condition. The actor, most popular for his role in 'Aashiqui', is currently hospitalized in Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. He is kept in ICU where the doctors are currently observing his condition.

The actor was shooting for 'LAC - Live the Battle' in Kargil. The harsh weather reportedly caused the stroke. Rahul was previously admitted to Srinagar and then shifted to Mumbai.

Roy's brother confirmed the news to Indian Express. "He is recovering," said Romeer Sen.

"He has been kept in the ICU as a precautionary measure. There is nothing to worry about," confirmed Rahul's brother-in-law to APB news.

Rahul had to undergo the mandatory coronavirus test despite precautions taken on the sets where he was shooting. His results came back negative.

Various reports claim that the actor has completed the shooting of 'LAC'.

Directed by Nitin Kumar Guptam the film is jointly produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu, the film based on Galwan Ghati sees Rahul play the role of a Major. The movie also features 'Bigg Boss 14' ex-contestant Nishant Malkhani.

Rahul Roy has also been part of other films like 'Jaanam' and 'Sapne Saajan Ke'. The actor appeared in the first ever season of 'Bigg Boss' and was in fact declared the winner of the show.
