'Tamasha', much like the name suggests, created quite a stir back when it was coming up five years back. The film featured Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor back in a movie, years after their break-up.

The movie was also interesting since Deepika's then-boyfriend, now-husband Ranveer Singh also dropped in during DeepBir's 'Tamasha' promotions. More so, the actor posed sandwiched between Ranbir and Deepika back then.

Five years later, as the movie celebrates its anniversary, Deepika has honoured its memory by sharing a poster of the film. She did not just share it, but made it her display picture on Instagram.

She did not just change her profile picture but also her temporary name. The actress has changed her name as the character Tara from 'Tamasha' on social media, at least for today.

Take a look:

The picture Deepika shared is from the song 'Matargashti'. Interestingly, it was the first song which was promoted and released. Deepika recorded herself doing the unique steps of 'Matargashti' on the sets of 'Tamasha'.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, 'Tamasha' was the story of two souls - Tara and Ved - finding their path while being stuck in the boring, ordinary life. Both Tara, played by Deepika, and Ved, played by Ranbir, were then seen pursuing their passion - theatre.

Both Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had worked with Imtiaz before the film in movies that went on to become iconic. While he was part of 'Rockstar', she played an important role in 'Love Aaj Kal' (2009) which also featured Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The movie came to Deepika very early on in her career (just a year after she made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om').
