Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa today ruled out resigning from the post in the wake of governor HR Bhardwaj according sanction for prosecution against him on allegations of land scam and corruption."Why should I," he shot back at a press conference here when asked if he would resign in the wake of the governor's decision."If somebody gives a complaint (against a chief minister) in India.... has anybody resigned.  Why should I," he said.However, Yeddyurappa parried a questioner who referred to Lalu Prasad Yadav's resignation from the post of chief minister in Bihar after a case of corruption in fooder scam was filed against him.Lalu, who had defied calls of resignation, resigned as chief minister in 1997 after non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against him in the food scam case.
