The police said a carpenter, Ranjith, 30, hanged himself at Babusahebpalya in Hennur after he was dejected over his wife’s refusal to return to him from her native place.
Two men committed suicide in their residence in separate incidents, the police said on Monday.

The woman, Sumathi, had left for Kolar protesting against Ranjith’s alleged alcoholism. She refused to return until he kicked the habit.
Ranjith’s neighbours grew suspicious after the man was not seen on Saturday, and on checking, found him hanging from a ceiling fan. He had used his wife’s saree to hang himself.
The couple was married for 11 years and had two children.
In another incident, driver Abdul Jaffar, a resident of Modi Road I DJ Halli was found hanging from a ceiling fan. His father said the man was unhappy over his marriage. The incident came to light when the father, Abdul Kalam, went to wake his son up on Monday morning.
Jaffar, married three years ago, have an 18-month-old son. His wife had gone to her native place.
