The motive behind the meet is to bring all its old students together to speed up its efforts of wildlife conservation as well as to check if the students implemented the knowledge if has provided to them.“During retrospection, we found out that there were over 1,000 people who have received this training in the last 20 years.

We wanted to know if at any point of time in their lives they were able to use the knowledge for real-time conservation, or even able to impart training to others. We have written to almost all of them for giving us feedback; some of them have written back. The zoo will shortly hold a meeting of the alumni of the conservation training course,” executive director of the zoo, BP Ravi, said.
