MLA’s kin booked for drunk driving
Chickpet MLA D Hemachandra Sagar’s nephew, Rohan Prem Sagar, was booked for drunk and reckless driving by the Halasuru Gate police on Saturday night. Rohan is son of D Prem Chandra Sagar.

Rohan was driving his Porsche car when he hit the road divider on Richmond flyover at 1.15 am. Rohan managed to stop the car after 100 metres, but the car was damaged badly.
Passers-by informed the police, who arrived at the scene soon. Police found Rohan intoxicated and decided to take him to police station.
Rohan protested. Finally, police called Hoysala, which took him to Halsuru Gate police station. As breath analysers were not available, Rohan was taken to the Cubbon Park police station, where the test was done.
