After remote weddings, it is robotic weddings that are set to make an impact in the wedding industry, as Wedding Bots are ready to hit the Indian market.

The prototype of the device is available and the launch is expected this year, the team believed.
The Hyderabad-based company has enabled live-streaming of over 2,000 weddings in Bangalore and 7,000 weddings in India.

According to Pratush Charan, who works with the business development team of SeeMyMarriage, people have expressed that viewing a wedding through live streaming is a wonderful experience, but suffers from the drawback of being static. So the Wedding Bot was developed to give the end users a sense of mobility, as they can control the device to take it to any part of the wedding hall.
It has a concurrent mechanism and allows two-way communication. It is an extension of live-streaming, giving users the joy of interactions, he said.

The outcome of this development varies in quality and facilities that a normal web-cam connected live streaming can render. It allows 360-degree rotation of camera, mobility of the device and high quality audio and video output. The recorded videos will be available to multiple users. by logging on to SeeMyMarriage.com, and will be available globally through its instant archival system.
The Wedding Bot will be made available for hire at a cost of ` 10,000 per event or can be purchased by event management companies for ` 40,000.

Although, no invention of science can replicate the human emotions of being present at an event, this device gets a step closer.

What is a Wedding Bot?
A Wedding Bot is a dynamic set up of a camera-device, which could be a tablet, connected to an instrument that is engineered to move, and controlled by a remote from the end user. The equipment, developed by SeeMyMarriage, is a tool through which friends and relatives from any part of the world can view the live streaming of a marriage with mobility.
