The judicial custody of former IT & BT minister Katta Subramanya Naidu and his corporator son Katta Jagadish has been extended till September 19 in the multi-crore Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) scam case on Saturday after the court had issued summons.

Along with the Kattas, judge Sudheendra Rao extended the judicial custody of Itaska Software Company’s managing director SV Srinivas till September 19.

Nine persons, including Katta, his corporator son Jagadish and another councillor M Gopi, were chargesheeted by the Lokayukta police in connection with the KIADB land scam.

Following the submission of the chargesheet, a Lok Ayukta special court had issued summons to the accused to appear before the court. Thereafter, they were sent to judicial custody.

The judge said that medical treatment should be provided to Srinivas since he is a heart patient.
