A mason has been arrested for allegedly raping the three-year-old daughter of his friend at Dollars Layout in JP Nagar police limits late on Monday.
A mason has been arrested for allegedly raping the three-year-old daughter of his friend at Dollars Layout in JP Nagar police limits late on Monday.
Bihar native Sunil Ram, 24, lured the girl with the promise of buying her chocolates and took her to the construction site where he was working and forced himself on the toddler. Her house was next to the site.
The toddler's mother, who returned home, heard her daughter’s screams. She rushed to the construction site and found the girl had been raped. The mother raised an alarm, and those who responded, thrashed the accused before handing him over to the police.
Medical examination, confirmed the girl was raped. Sunil has been remanded to judicial custody.
The accused had been staying in the locality for the past one year.
