Former prime minister and JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda shot off one more letter to chief minister BS Yeddyurappa demanding an independent probe, preferably by the central bureau of investigation (CBI), into the alleged irregularities in providing land to Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE), the company which is implementing the Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project.

Accusing the BJP government of favouring NICE by selling hundreds of acres to the company,  Gowda wanted the government to come clean on the issue by ordering a probe. He wanted governor HR Bharadwaj to intervene if the state government failed to act.

He threatened to intensify his agitation if the probe is not ordered.
