Alleged murderer commits suicide in Bangalore
Srinivas was involved in a murder case in 1990. He was also involved in robbery, attempt to murder, and several theft cases.
A 45-year-old rowdy-sheeter allegedly committed suicide in his house in Srinagar on Sunday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Srinivas alias Sinu alias Bruce Lee, committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan using a nylon wire.
He was living with his wife and son in a rented house. The incident occurred when his wife Manjula had gone to the temple.
Srinivas was involved in a murder case in 1990. He was also involved in robbery, attempt to murder, and several theft cases.
However, for the past two years, he had given up all criminal activities and had been actively involved in real estate business.
Police said that Srinivas had taken loans from several financiers in the city. Unable to repay them, he took the extreme step. A death note left by Srinivas stated that he was taking the extreme step because he could not return the debt.
His body was shifted to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem.
