GM Vamadev, president of Yoga Dasara sub-committee, said the two-day yoga camp would be one of the highlights of Dasara 2011. He informed that they had invited yoga teachers and trainers from all over the country, who will act as resource persons for the two-day international yoga camp.

Usually, the foreign tourists who come to Mysore to see Dasara celebrations stay a little longer to learn yoga here.

Vamadev said the yoga teachers who would conduct the two-day camp would later work with different yoga schools in Mysore, so that the tourists who decide to stay to learn the ancient discipline are catered to.

“We have yoga training for all class and age group of people and basic yoga training with 20 yogasanas, accompanied with pranayama and dhyana in addition to Nritya yoga, Sahasa yoga and Sangeet yoga,” president of the yoga sub-committee said.
