Controversial actress Ranjita, who was alleged to have been involved in a sex tape with Swami Nithyananda, appeared before a judge at the Ramanagaram court on Saturday.

This is the second time the actress is making an appearance before the judge, who is hearing her complaint against Lenin Karuppan, Nithyananda’s former disciple and driver.

Karuppan had videotaped the sexcapades of Nithyananda allegedly with Ranjita at the ashram in Bidadi.

The actress appeared before the judicial magistrate first class, Roopa Devi, and requested the judge for a personal audience to make the statement.

Ranjita accused Lenin with criminal intention, attempt to rape and criminal conspiracy in her complaint.

The complaint also states that the video footage was morphed in such a way that it could not be identified. She also alleged that Lenin threatened her by showing a few clips of two other woman disciples on his laptop and warned her that she would be in the videos.

She also alleged in her complaint that Lenin had threatened her of releasing the video footage to the media if she failed to pay him a ransom amount.

Aarti Rao and Sreedhar, the other accused in the case, were also included in Ranjita’s complaint. The actress stated that Rao, an associate of Nithyananda and a resident of Michigan, US, had helped Lenin in recording the alleged video, while M Sridhar, an advocate had been his accomplice. The case has been postponed to February 19.
