Simple Energy on the occasion of 75th Independence Day launched Simple One electric bike in four standard colours - Brazen Black, Azure Blue, Grace White and Namma Red while the latter is only available in Bengaluru.

The company on Monday said it has started accepting pre-orders for Simple One electric bikes and customers can pre-order for Rs 1,947. The deliveries of electric scooters are likely to start by January 1, 2022. According to the company, when the delivery will start, the customer's order will be then created and they will be notified to complete the purchase by doing the full payment, depending on the order sequence in the respective city.
The bike will have a charging network that spreads across 13 states with more than 300 charging stations across these particular states.
The electric bikes by Simple One will provide a range of 236 km, while the maximum speed achievable is 105 kmph, as per the company, which added that in just 2.9 seconds, the Simple One bike can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph.
The bike has a combined fixed and portable battery of 4.8kWh, with 27000 cells powering it, and a motor of 7kW.
The 'Simple One' bike has been launched at a price of Rs 109,999 that is ex-showroom. With further incentives, the price is expected to become even more affordable.
