Triumph opens bookings for Trident 660; here's all you need to know about EMI, booking price

British motorcycle maker opens bookings for its new roadster bike, Trident 660, in dealerships across the country at an initial amount of Rs 50,000.

Triumph motorcycles on November 25 said that it has started pre-bookings for its upcoming motorcycle Trident 660 in India. The pre-bookings can be carried out across its dealerships in the country.

The motorcycle enthusiasts can book this 660cc roadster motorcycle at the initial amount of Rs 50,000, the company stated in its release.

The premium motorcycle maker is also offering a special finance scheme for its upcoming model. The offer would allow the customers to get their hands on this motorcycle at an EMI of Rs 9,999. It is however available for only a limited period of time, it added.

Some of the features of Trident 660 would include multi-functional instruments thin with film transistor (TFT) display and LED lighting along with self-cancelling indicators. Trident 660 has two riding modes — road and rain.

This new addition to the roadster profile has multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection with electronic throttle control and a stainless steel three into one header system with low single-sided stainless steel silencer. It has 

Nissen brake calipers with anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Trident 660 produces a maximum power of 81 PS / 80 bhp (60 kW) @ 10,250 rpm (revolutions per minute) and a maximum torque of 64 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. PS denotes metric horsepower, unlike bhp, which refers to the old imperial brake horsepower.

This 660cc bike is equipped with liquid-cooled, 12 valves, DOHC, inline three-cylinder engine as well.

Under its roadster profile, Triumph already sells two other bikes, Street Triple RS and Street Triple R, in India.
