Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of America, said that democracy is the rule of the people, by the people, for the people. But when the same people start breaking all the limits in the name of freedom, then democracy turns into anarchy. To understand this, you first look at a picture.

This picture is of a waterfall named Kempty Falls near Mussoorie, a famous tourist destination of Uttarakhand where thousands of tourists have started arriving every day as soon as the lockdown ended. But these people are neither taking care of social distancing during this time nor have anyone put a mask on their face, and hundreds of these people are taking bath under the waterfall. These videos are now becoming viral on social media and on social media they are being called Covidiots.

Covidiots are those people who do not follow the guidelines related to Covid-19 and violate the rules. 

Kempty Falls is a series of waterfalls in Uttarakhand which was developed as a tourist spot in the year 1835 by an English officer named John Makinen. The size of the place where these hundreds of people have gathered under the waterfall will be at most 200 yards. In such a place, only one house of four to five rooms can be ready. Now, in the era of social distancing, can a thousand people live together in a four to five room house? Leave social distancing, even generally thousands of people cannot be present together in such a place. But the same is happening at Kempty Falls and seeing these pictures, you will get an idea that the third wave of coronavirus in India will erupt from the waterfalls of unlimited freedom.

And all this is happening when new coronavirus cases in India are rising continuously for the last three days.

On July 6, about 34,000 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in India, and the number increased to about 46,000 in the last 48 hours. Still, people do not care about their own life or the lives of others.

Photos of Kempty Falls are not the only example of this negligence, but similar pictures are coming from all over the country where the lockdown has been lifted. Yesterday, several people from Delhi and Haryana were arrested by the police while smoking hookah at Har Ki Paudi in Haridwar. A case has been registered against these people under the Epidemic Act. A few days ago, we also showed you the pictures of Manali where thousands of people are looking for rooms with Vally View in hotels, not Ventilator rooms.

Two days ago, videos of a 5-year-old child from the famous hill station Dharamshala also came. In the video, the child is scolding those who are not wearing masks. This child comes from a very poor family and his father earns a living by selling balloons, but the way this child was advising everyone to wear a mask shows about his awareness. Now the Himachal Pradesh Police has not only gifted this child new clothes, but has also been made the Brand Ambassador in the fight against coronavirus.

You will remember the time when the Kumbh Mela was organized in Haridwar in the midst of the second wave of coronavirus. It was criticized a lot. People had even said that due to this negligence of the Uttarakhand government, there could be an explosion of coronavirus in the whole country. Those same people who criticized the Kumbh Mela should now come forward and criticize these pictures too. Because democracy does not only give you the right to freedom, but under it you also have to perform your duties with full devotion.
