In Kerala, the exemption given by the government on the occasion of Eid al-Adha has proved fatal. The relaxation given in the lockdown due to appeasement has caused a tremendous increase in the cases of coronavirus in the state.

On July 21, a total of 41,383 new cases of COVID-19 were registered across the country out of which 17,481 new patients were found in Kerala alone. This means, over 42% of cases were from Kerala alone.

We have continuously drawn your attention to this issue. But the politics of communalism has won once again and secularism in the true sense has lost. The coronavirus has shown that in reality, this virus is secular. It doesn't differentiate between Hindu or Muslim and it is dividing death equally among all.

This explosion of coronavirus in Kerala has happened when this matter of concession given in lockdown on Eid also reached the Supreme Court. But the Supreme Court could not stop it like the Kanwar Yatra and therefore we feel that the failure of the court is also behind the increase in the cases in Kerala. On July 20, while hearing this matter, the Supreme Court had said that if the cases of coronavirus increase due to this concession, the court will definitely take appropriate action on it.

That is why today we want to bring this situation of Kerala to the notice of the Supreme Court also and want to tell that the situation is not good in the state. But there is an update that the Government of Kerala has now imposed a complete lockdown there on 24th and 25th July.

Today when we are talking about coronavirus, you should also understand the mood of the people in the country. Many in our country have accepted that the second wave of coronavirus has gone and they will think about of the third wave when it comes. But scientists have warned that the current trend of daily cases of corona indicates that the second wave of coronavirus has not gone anywhere.

Scientists have expressed concern about the fact that the positivity rate of COVID-19 in India has stabilized instead of falling. On July 1, where the positivity rate in the country was 2.48 percent, even after 21 days it did not go below 2 percent. In simple words, for the last almost one month, 30 to 40 thousand cases of coronavirus are coming daily in the country and this trend shows that the second wave has not gone anywhere.

People who are crowding the markets are saying that how will the third wave come, when we do not let the second wave go?
