ANALYSIS
The battle of Lakhimpur Kheri has now turned into political tourism and every opposition leader wants to go to there.
Today, we will tell you about the political 'kheer' (pudding) being cooked in the Lakhimpur Kheri area of Uttar Pradesh. This kheer is so delicious that every party leader wants to eat it. But this kheer is mixed with human blood and it is being cooked on the stove of hatred. There are many twists in this story. Different people are using each twist in their own way. Some want to give it a political colour, some want to spoil the atmosphere in its name, while some want this incident to turn into a new conflict between the administration and the farmers.
A car crushes four protestors and after that, the protesters beat up three people including the driver of the car. These miscreants were so cruel that they even killed a journalist. All these people are calling themselves farmers but we think it would be dishonest to call them farmers.
The battle of Lakhimpur has now turned into political tourism. Every leader wants to go to Lakhimpur Kheri and get votes for himself from there.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been trying to reach there since last night and many of her dramatic videos are trending today. But the most painful video is the one in which you will be able to see how mercilessly these protesters killed the driver of the vehicle. These demonstrations are done in the name of democracy and freedom of expression. But the news channels which raise questions on them, these people become bloodthirsty for their reporters and today our reporter's life is hardly saved. Today we will show you the true analysis of this whole incident. But first, let us tell you how this violence happened.
At the root of this violence is an incident that happened on 25 September. In fact, on September 25, Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni had come to attend a program in his parliamentary constituency Lakhimpur Kheri. During this, some workers of the Kisan Union here showed him black flags, due to which he got angry and told from the stage that he knows all these people who are protesting and can deal with them in two minutes. After this, a group of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, in which some leaders of the Samajwadi Party are also said to be present, started opposing him. And yesterday there was violence again.
In protest against this statement of Ajay Mishra Teni, the farmers union and some leaders of the area had announced that they would protest against the arrival of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya to Lakhimpur Kheri on 3rd October. And after this, they took possession of the Helipad yesterday, where the Deputy Chief Minister's helicopter was to land. Violence also took place at the same place later. We have come to know that among those who wanted to show black flags to Keshav Prasad Maurya, there are some leaders of the Samajwadi Party and these people also threatened him and MP Ajay Mishra Teni shortly before the violence. We have got a video of this too.
Due to the protest, Keshav Prasad Maurya reached Lakhimpur Kheri by road instead of helicopter and participated in the program. Ajay Mishra Teni was also with him. And by this time, there had been no violence. But after some time, the news came that where the Helipad has been built, farmers have set vehicles on fire and many people have died in it. Following the news, more people gathered there.
However, there are three different sides to how the violence happened.
One aspect is that during the program, Ashish Mishra alias Monu Mishra, son of Ajay Mishra Teni, had come out with three vehicles to receive Keshav Prasad Maurya and during this, his car surrounded the road and crushed the farmers standing. It is alleged that his car was travelling at a speed of 100 kmph, due to which two vehicles overturned there and some of their people also died
The second aspect is that the vehicles with which the farmers were crushed were not driven by Ashish Mishra but his driver Hariom Mishra, who was beaten to death by the farmers. These people, who called themselves farmers, brutally killed two more BJP workers.
And the third aspect is that when these BJP vehicles were going to receive Keshav Prasad Maurya, some farmers pelted stones on them and this incident took place in fear of running away, which the police have also considered. In all the videos and pictures of this violence that have come out, the protesters are seen committing violence and arson.
When our team carefully listened and examined all these videos, it was found that the vehicles did not overturn due to high speed, as is being claimed. Rather, some farmers overturned these vehicles and set them on fire. Apart from this, some people were also seen fighting there with BJP workers sitting in the car. Most of these people were saying that no one should be left alive.
Now the question is, can these people be farmers who have killed people by beating them?
In Lakhimpur Kheri at this time, a kheer is being cooked on the stove of politics in which the sweetness of votes is there. And everyone wants to eat this kheer. Samajwadi Party leaders Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Priyanka Gandhi, Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Jayant Chaudhary and five leaders of Mamata Banerjee's party tried to visit Lakhimpur Kheri today. However, they were already stopped due to the imposition of Section 144 there.
Lakhimpur Kheri is the largest district of Uttar Pradesh in terms of area. But now it can also become the biggest tourist destination of UP. Because all the opposition leaders are desperate to go there and take selfies with the families of those killed in the violence. Priyanka Gandhi reached Lucknow from Delhi to go to Lakhimpur Kheri and she also tried to go there from Sitapur district by dodging the police, but today at 5.30 am, she was taken into custody, after which there was a lot of uproar.
When the police stopped Priyanka Gandhi's convoy, like shooting a film, many cameras were turned on there and Priyanka Gandhi started talking big things in the name of democracy and constitution. Just like an actor or actress starts saying dialogue after light camera action. Priyanka Gandhi also accused the police of misbehaviour, while in some pictures she herself is seen pushing women policemen.
A video also surfaced of Priyanka Gandhi sweeping the guest house in Sitapur where she was kept in custody, which the Congress posted on social media saying that Priyanka Gandhi is standing with the farmers. But we feel that all these efforts are being made to get votes in the UP elections, and Lakhimpur Kheri is being made the basis for this.
When Priyanka Gandhi was taken into police custody, Robert Vadra has also defended her and said that she will not return without meeting the families of the victims. That is, a political fair is going to be held in Lakhimpur Kheri today or tomorrow.
Akhilesh Yadav also tried to go to Lakhimpur Kheri today but he was taken into custody by the police from outside his house in Lucknow. The interesting thing is that first, a crowd of Samajwadi Party workers gathered outside his house, then Akhilesh Yadav gave a long speech and when he got a lot of media coverage, then he agreed to walk with the police. During this, the Samajwadi Party was also accused of setting a police vehicle on fire.
Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Jayant Chaudhary even blew up the police barricade in Hapur in a filmy style. And after this, his supporters were seen running from Toll Plaza.
You will remember when a Dalit girl was raped in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh last year, even then there was a competition among the leaders to go there. Even then these leaders wanted to reach there at any cost.
A local journalist named Raman Kashyap also died in this violence. This journalist was covering the farmers' protest there. But he was beaten up during the violence and after his death, his body was also missing for a long time. It is also claimed that the farmers misbehaved with him assuming him to be a BJP supporter. Although these demonstrations are in the name of democracy and freedom of expression, the news channels who raise questions on them, these people become bloodthirsty for their reporters and today our reporter's life is hardly saved.
When our reporting team reached Lakhimpur Kheri today to investigate this violence, it was asked to leave after showing sticks and swords. Some people also pushed our team, after which our team had to stand some distance away from the spot to save their lives. However, despite the danger, we have investigated the entire violence from Ground Zero.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured strict action against the culprits. Apart from this, the Uttar Pradesh government has said that the entire matter will be investigated by a retired judge of the High Court. Rs 45 lakh each will be given to the families of those killed in the violence and Rs 10 lakh each to the injured.
