Woman deserted by lover post sex, raped by another
The victim stated that she had eloped from Vadnagar with her boyfriend Mayur Patel, of Gandhinagar on June 11.
A 25-year-old woman of Vadnagar in Mehsana lodged a rape complaint against two persons including her boyfriend at Kagdapith police station on Wednesday.
The victim stated that she had eloped from Vadnagar with her boyfriend Mayur Patel, of Gandhinagar on June 11. After the two reached the state capital, Patel took her to the backside of Gandhinagar ST bus stand and had sex with her. The next day they reached Kalupur railway station where Patel told her that he is going to buy a bottle of water.
When he did not return even after an hour, she began to search for him. She came in contact with one Babulal. After they searched for Patel for two hours, he offered her shelter and convinced her into accompanying him to his house, where he raped her.
