The AIIMS declared the results of its MBBS online entrance test on Thursday, after a government panel rejected the allegations of a question paper leak. The results are now available on the official website — aiimsexams.org — and also on the websites of other six AIIMS.

A thrilled Nishita said since she has always wanted to pursue MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi, she was a step closer to fulfilling her dream of becoming a cardiac surgeon.

“I was confident of securing a slot in top 10, but never thought I would top it. This result has surpassed my expectations,” said Nishita, daughter of an IIT-M graduate father.

Nishita’s father is currently posted at Bhubaneshwar steel plant, while her brother Anshul, also an IIT Mumbai graduate, is posted in the US. Her mother is a pharmacy graduate and a homemaker.
