Shala Praveshotsav for kids of anganwadis from June 22
The decision was taken in the AMC standing committee meeting on Thursday. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is expected to enroll around 25,000 kids in the age group of 3 to 6 years.
The city civic body will organise Shala Praveshotsav for anganwadi kids from June 22 to June 25.

This is for the first time that AMC is holding such an event for anganwadi kids. It will also distribute school kits. Interestingly, it has revised the estimate for the kits. Earlier, they had planned to purchase 52,357 units of crayon packets and drawing books, which have been revised to 25,000 units.
