Seven students have scored All India Rank among top 50 in Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination held in November 2018.

While the topper of the state, belonging to Ahmedabad, has scored AIR 10, two students from Surat and Rajkot have scored AIR 17 and 22 respectively.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Friday declared the results of November 2018 exams in which over 1.57 lakh candidates had appeared.

Two students from Ahmedabad have made it to AIR 50 in the Integrated Professional Competency Examination (IPCE).

Ahmedabad centre has witnessed a drop in the overall pass percentage of results of chartered accountants intermediate old course and new course examination.

As against the results in May 2018 when the pass percentage of a student passing one of the groups (for the new course) was 47.91 per cent, the same for November exam is 39.09 per cent.

The results of the same category nationally also witnessed a drop.
