The Delhi-based woman, who blamed suspended IAS officer Gaurav Dahiya of bigamy, cheating, criminal intimidation, and breach of trust, on Friday, said she is happy that Dahiya has agreed to undergo a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of her child. She also said her allegations against the bureaucrat were found to be true and hence he has been suspended by the state government. She also refuted the counter allegations of blackmailing, harassment, and extortion leveled against her by Dahiya. The suspended officer had alleged that the woman was blackmailing her for money and she surfaced with the allegations only after he refused to pay her. She said the bureaucrat's father was pressurising her to leave Dahiya when she was already six-months pregnant. The woman, Neelu Singh, also said the bureaucrat had offered her money so that she leaves him forever. "He offered me money so that I leave him. However, I told him categorically that I am not leaving him in any condition. I told him that he will have to take me to Gandhinagar and accept before the world that I am his wife and it was his child," she said, during the press conference.Dahiya was suspended by the government on Aug 14 for misconduct and moral turpitude based on the committee findings formed to probe the issue.
