Earlier, Kovind and Shah were to come on Tuesday, but their visits were cancelled following the terror attack on a bus carrying Amarnath yatris from Gujarat in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Shah was to address a public rally in Gandhinagar while Kovind was to meet MPs and MLAs.

Vaghani said, “Gujarat BJP in-charge Bhupendra Yadav will accompany them. Kovind is coming for campaigning of Presidential polls to be held later this month. Besides MPs and MLAs, senior office-bearers of party organisation in state will remain present in this meeting. By late evening, all three leaders will return to Delhi.”
