The community members of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) on Sunday donated Rs 3 crores to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for the families of the jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack, Kashmir on February 14. The cheque was handed over to the Inspector General of CRPF by BJP National President Amit Shah at 'Lakshya' hosted by JITO in Ahmedabad.

We aim to provide housing facility to Jain families who are unable to afford a housing property or rental costs. The scheme in first year will provide housing of 108 flats and in five years, we aim at providing 540 flats."

For students pursuing education, many times it gets difficult to afford accommodation in city with rising costs and they struggle with Jain sattvik food. For the same, we will be building a hostel facility in Navrangpura that would house 150 students and have library, Derasar and Jain food mess facility."

On Pulwama attack fund, he said, "We have collected this amount within three days of the attack to pay tribute to the soldiers."
