Police Constable in Ahmedabad caught taking bribe, held
Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday nabbed a State Reserve Police (SRP) constable Bharat Patel for accepting Rs25,000 as bribe for helping the complainant clear the Teacher’s Eligibility Test.
Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday nabbed one State Reserve Police (SRP) constable Bharat Patel red-handed for accepting Rs25,000 in bribe.
He had promised the complainant to help him clear the Teacher’s Eligibility Test in lieu of the money.
ACB sleuths also found documents relating to examination of police sub-inspectors and police constables with him. Investigations revealed that he charged Rs3 lakh from every candidate promising to qualify them for state-level competitive exams.
