A 25-year-old post-graduate student of the prestigious BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Ruhi Hatidhara, who originally belongs to Palanpur, was found with a needle stuck in her left wrist at around 8.30 am on Saturday.
She was found in an unconscious state by a fellow doctor who had gone to the terrace of the PG hostel building for his routine morning walk. She lived in room 407 B of the hostel.
By the time, help was summoned, Hatidhara was dead.
As of now, cops are treating it as a case of suicide even as the investigation is on to determine the cause of death.
Hatidhara had been married for two years and her husband worked as a doctor in a clinic in Waghodia in Vadodara.
ACP F division Rajesh Gadhiya said they have talked to the roommates of the victim. “As of now it seems like a suicide but the fact that the body was found on the terrace makes it suspicious. We are investigating and waiting for the FSL and post-mortem report,” said Gadhia.
