Amit Panchal from Ghatlodia Parents Association said, "Most schools have already taken the third and fourth quarter of fees from the parents. For new admissions, many schools even charged donation which is illegal as per law. We will be approaching the government to take action against schools and form stringent laws like TADA and PASA to deal with education mafias in the city.

Following a call for Bandh by Vadodara District Parents Association, associations in Ahmedabad have also shown support and have decided not to send kids to schools.
