Although the Gujarat government has remained tight-lipped about the name of the printer's firm in the Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) recruitment test paper leak case, the police have their suspicions regarding the same firm. After five days, the police have accepted that they firmly believe that people from the printing firm were involved and played a role in the paper leak.

The district superintendent of police in Gandhinagar, MJ Chavda, said, "The Delhi-based gang was in touch with the people at the press where the papers were printed. This happened through a mole in the printing press who would have provided the paper to the Delhi-based gang, we can say for sure."

Surprisingly, this agency has been given the job of printing papers for recruitment in other departments of the state government in the past too.

A very senior official in the state government said, "The agency which printed the papers in LRD recruitment test bears great trust of Gujarat government. This was not for the first time that the agency was awarded the contract. Recruitment test papers have been printed there many times in the past as well."

However, the official ruled out the possibility that the agency could have leaked papers of previous tests which was not discovered unlike in the case of LRD recruitment.
