After two sharpshooters involved in the Jayanti Bhanushali murder case were arrested on Sunday by the SIT investigating the case, officials cleared up that Chhabil Patel was behind the entire conspiracy.

However, during the investigation, it was also revealed that the suspect Manisha Goswami was not involved in the matter, although her group member Surjit Bhau was. According to senior police officials, while interrogating the two arrested accused, identified as Shashikant Kamble and Shaikh Ashraf Anwar, it was revealed that they were in contact with Patel and he had approached them with the contract to kill Bhanushali.

Further investigation revealed that Patel had no connection in Pune, but he knew that Surjit Bhau, a native of Maharashtra, had some connection and contacted him. Bhau, who is in the same group of Manisha Goswami, contacted Patel through a person named Nikhil in Pune. Nikhil, who knew Kamble and Ashraf, arranged a meeting between them and Patel in Mumbai.

Ashish Bhatia, DIG of CID and Railway, said, "We are investigating Manisha's involvement in the matter, but until now, we have found out that her group member Surjit Bhau was involved with Patel. There are three more accused who are wanted in the matter and the search from them is on. Soon, they will be arrested." The three accused wanted in the matter have been identified as Chhabil Patel, the main conspirator behind the murder, Surjit Bhau, the person who got Patel in contact with the sharpshooters and an unidentified person who helped the sharpshooters in Samakhaili.

As per senior police officials, the three partners of the sharpshooters have been identified and he is also a resident of Pune. A team has been sent to nab him.
