Bharatiya Janata Party’s youth recruitment drive slogan — Join BJYM, Join NaMo — has clearly established that chief minister Narendra Modi is the face of the party. The saffron party has announced a nationwide youth recruitment drive. By mobilising its cadre and through social media, it wants more youths to be associated with the party. The state BJP hopes to attract nearly five lakh cadres during its drive from August 5. Party workers will reach out to youth from colleges and educational institutes to join BJP in the name of Modi.  However, Pradipsinh Jadeja, state BJYM president, said, “It is not that Modi has become bigger than the party. The slogan was coined keeping in mind his popularity.” National general secretary Amit Shah was present at the state executive meeting in Gandhinagar on Saturday. State BJP president RC Faldu and state BJYM in-charge Shankar Chaudhry were also present.
