The meeting in Morbi was hosted by Morbi district Congress Committee chief Lalit Kagthara, who also runs a business of ceramic hardware manufacturing. Around 500 businessmen attended the meeting. However, office bearers of Morbi Ceramic Industries Association did not turn up.

Hardik said, "BJP always ignored ceramic industries as this is a small sector and run by small entreprenuers. They always meted out injustice to this industry which is again dominated by the Patel community. The BJP government has cheated businessmen in this sector and did not give us gas or power at cheaper rates."

"Whenever the BJP-led Gujarat government needed support of this industry, they exploited you but did not give anything back to you. This is the time to give them an apt answer for this injustice. You have always supported BJP with your money(Dhan) but I have come here to seek your support from your souls(Mann)," Hardik added.

Later, Hardik met the businemen from brass parts and auto ancillaries industries in Rajkot. Addressing them, he said, "I am not raising my voice for Patel, OBC, Dalit and Tribal communities only. I will fight for the rights of business community also and especially small business units like you have. I am holding dialogues with people from the small industries and I feel proud that businessmen are also with me in the fight against BJP government."
