The convener of PAAS Dharmik Malaviya said, “We met governor and demanded that our fundamental rights should be protected. The local administration does not allow PAAS to hold protest programmes. Moreover, the police also register different cases against us when we hold any such programme.”

“We also have several demands on the issues of farmers, students, women and other common people. We want to present these issues before the government but they do not allow us to do so. We appealed the government to protect our rights so as the police does not register criminal cases against PAAS volunteers on the frivolous ground,” Malaviya added.

“The governor assured sufficient measures on our demands and also said that he will convey the message to his government at this meeting. He also asked us to meet the CM Vijay Rupani and home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja after formation of the new government and share our views with them. We will discuss this with other members of PAAS and then will write to CM for the meeting,” Malaviya said.
