Gujarat University, in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will host a boot camp for virtual labs development from January 9-13. The boot camp, which is a training and certification programme has attracted participation from 8 states across the country.
Teams from different institutes including IIT-Delhi, IIT-Roorkee, IIT-Guwahati, NIT, Suratkal, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, D Y Patil University, Nirma University, L D College of Engineering are participating.
A total of 29 teams have proposed to develop 29 laboratories/BootCamp will facilitate complete development of at least one experiment in each lab. While inaugurating the boot camp, Dr Himanshu Pandya, Vice-chancellor of GU said, "The camp aims to promote community development and work towards addressing social issues/problems."
