A case of sexual harassment was registered on Monday against a tuition teacher in the Isanpur after parents of three minor victims protested at and vadalised the premises of the tuition. After locals informed the Isanpur police station about the damage, the police reached the spot to control the situation and the parents were taken to the police station to register a complaint against the teacher.

According to the police, one of the three minor girls was molested by the tuition teacher, identified as Hitesh Patel (29), around two days ago. Upon telling her friends about the same, the girl found that two more girls were molested by Patel similarly. Patel is a resident of Vatva GIDC and runs Umiya classes in Isanpur area.

On Monday the girls narrated the incident to their parents. Following this, around 4.30 pm the parents of the three minors gathered outside the tuition and started protesting against the tuition centre. After a while, when the parents realised that Patel was not present at the tuition, they started vandalising the property.

Incharge Police inspector of Isnapur police station, DR Gohil said, "We have lodged a case against the tuition teacher under IPC 363 and under POCSO Act. Further investigation is underway. The teacher is presently absconding. He will be soon arrested once we have his location."
