In a major relief for students, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has extended the dates to fill the forms for class X and XII board examination till November 29.

According to a note from the board, it had earlier decided to accept the forms till November 15, however, after receiving complaint from the students, the board decided to extend the date.

Further, no additional fee will be charged by the GSHSEB. “Students will be able to credit fee in the bank latest by November 30. After this, no forms or fee will be accepted by the board,” said the note.

Till Tuesday, around 9,45,186 students registered to appear for class X board exam that will be held next year. In the last one day, 1,389 students registered. Meanwhile, around 4,65,786 registered to appear for class XII general stream examination in 2014, said chairman of the GSHSEB RR Varsani.
