Gujarat man murdered by friend after tiff over Rs 100

In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed to death by his friend allegedly after a dispute sparked off between the duo over Rs 100 on Thursday. night A complaint was lodged with Shaherkhotoda police. The incident took place behind Anil Starch mill compound in Bapunagar.

The duo was drunk when the incident took place . The victim has been identified as Devji Makwana. The complaint was lodged by victim's uncle Dhanji Makwana, of Ramprasad ni Chaali. He told police that Devji and accused Ashok Solanki were together near Kishor complex. A dispute broke between the two when Ashok attacked Devji with a stone, following which he instantly died. Police said the body was sent for autopsy. VD Vala, an inspector of Sheherkhotada police station, said, "The victim had taken money from the accused and was not giving it back. When the accused tried to forcefully take it back, he stabbed the victim. The accused also attacked him with a stone."
