Gujarat govt plans Namami Narmade for PM Narendra Modi's birthday
On his 69th birthday, PM Modi will visit Gujarat wherein he will offer prayers to Narmada as part of a festival called Namami Narmade.
The state government in Gujarat is all set with a gift for PM Modi: A fully-filled Sardar Sarovar Dam. Incidentally, the water level of the dam has crossed 138 metres for the first time.
As a result, some amount of water has been released from the dam which has resulted in a scenic Statue of Unity being surrounded by water from all sides.
