Over 16 lakh students had appeared for Class 10 exams this March
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce class 10 result on Tuesday at 4.00 pm. All eyes are on the results as the board exam was re-introduced in class 10 this year. This was the first batch to appear for the Class 10 board examinations after the CBSE decided to junk the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and reintroduce the board exams.
Over 16 lakh students had appeared for Class 10 exams this March. The board has revised the pass mark criteria this time and as per the revision, a student has to secure 33% marks in total including internal assessment and board exams in order to pass the exam.
