Gujarat: 12-year-old boy goes missing from LG Hospital, plaint lodged
The local police have also sought help from the city crime branch
A case of kidnapping was lodged with Maninagar police on Wednesday after a 12-year-old boy, Rahul Vishwakarma went missing from LG Hospital compound in Maninagar on May 27. The father, a resident of Lambha village, informed the police three days after his son went missing.
The local police have also sought help from the city crime branch. According to the complaint, Dinesh, 32, has three children. His one-and-a-half-year-old son Aeesh got admitted to LG Hospital for treatment 12 days ago. The family was visiting the facility since then. On May 27, his eldest son Rahul had gone to the hospital with a tiffin box for Aeesh and his mother. Later that day, he went missing from the garden in the hospital compound where he was playing. Dinesh was also at the hospital at the time.
After they realised that Rahul was missing, his parents looked for him in the hospital but they could not find him.
When police reached the hospital to check CCTV footage from the area where the child was last seen, they discovered to their shock that the cameras were not working.
