Eunuch gang war in Ahmedabad spills onto streets

Looks like eunuch leader Nitu De is trying every tactic to regain lost territory by creating panic in the rival group led by Bhavna De. The second consecutive attack on members of Bhavna De group by Nitu was in Ambawadi.

Earlier on Sunday, Nitu attacked them near Mansi circle for not accepting her dominance and leadership as eunuch queen.

Suman De, member of Bhavna De gang, went to collect money from some shopkeepers near CN Vidyalay in Ambawadi on Wednesday. Suman, along with two other eunuchs, was standing near a shop. 

Nitu, along with three of her gang members, came in an auto and picked up a fight with them.

In her complaint at Ellisbridge police station, Suman claimed that Nitu and her gang came with wooden sticks and started beating them. Nitu allegedly told them that Ambawadi was her territory and warned Suman not to enter it without her permission.

After a verbal spat, Nitu and her gang thrashed Suman and her two gang members. Terrified, Suman called the police control room. However, Nitu and the others fled before cops arrived.

Based on the complaint filed by Suman, a resident of Behrampura, Ellisbridge police have lodged a case against Nitu and three of her gang members.

Earlier on Sunday, Nitu and two of her bodyguards attacked Jagruti De, Puja De and Ramola De near Mansi circle.  In January, Vastrapur police arrested nine eunuchs involved in the gang war near Vastrapur lake. They included six members of Nitu De gang and three of Bhavna De gang.

These frequent gang wars are seen as the result of a turf war between these two prominent gang leaders.
