The workshop was a part of 'Save The Youth - Win Over Tobacco' campaign aimed at sensitising students about the ill-effects of tobacco. Over 100 MSc students and faculty participated in the workshop. The campaign is aimed at telling people about the effects of tobacco, and to assist tobacco addicts in giving it up.

"We want to create awareness among the youth, and tell them that it is possible to quit smoking and other forms of tobacco addiction with proper counselling and specific medications," said Dr Pawan Gupta, the campaign's founder and director of Institute of Cancer Care, Jaypee Hospital.
