The CM said that the citizens of India should try to make the soldiers feel homely on Diwali.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani celebrated Diwali with the jawans of Border Security Force posted in Nadabet, Banaskantha District. Rupani reached there with his wife Anjali on Wednesday morning and interacted with the soldiers.
The CM said that the citizens of India should try to make the soldiers feel homely on Diwali. Taking the thought forward, and with that concern he had decided to celebrate every Diwali with them.
Rupani said, “Our safety and prosperity is ensured by these jawans. We can sleep in peace because they are up guarding the borders round the clock. They stay miles away from their families even during Diwali. It is our duty to make them feel homely.”
“We have started the Seema Darshan programme, installed mobile towers and water supply networks for them after they expressed their needs to us,” the CM added.
