An upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan at 3.1 km persists and this might bring more rains to Ahmedabad, says IMD

Several pockets of Ahmedabad received light to moderate showers on Friday taking the day's count to 3.91mm till evening. Overall, the city received 355.91 mm rains against an annual average of 803 mm, the weatherman said
An upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan at 3.1 km persists and this might bring more rains to Ahmedabad, IMD said.
Heavy rains may occur next week in Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Dang Tapi, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, and Dahod. Stray showers are also expected in Saurashtra, especially in Botad & Bhavnagar.
The city may receive light rains on Saturday. The maximum temperature could be around 31 degree Celsius and minimum temperature around 24 degree Celsius, IMD said.
Rains have receded across the state. Seventy talukas received rains on Saturday. The talukas that received maximum rains include Vyara (16mm), Waghai (16mm), Kaprada (15mm), Dahegam (14), Lodhika (11) and Chikhali (11).
