Solanki, alongwith former Union minister Dr Tushar Chaudhary and other local leaders, had gone to meet the families of the deceased and the injured.

The GPCC president said, “Not only Gujarat, this attack has disgusted the entire nation. Instead of shedding crocodile tears, the BJP-led government should keep political interests on the side and focus on public interests. It should forget its greed for power and open its third eye on these terrorists.”

Commenting on the situation, he said, “Jammu and Kashmir have become a terrorists’ den, where attacks on the army and soldiers are common. In these circumstances, this cowardly attack on pilgrims is an open challenge to Hindutva.”

“Instead of debating on this, the BJP-led Centre should give a jaw-breaking answer to these terrorists. Our president Sonia Gandhi and all other Indians will stand with them on this decision,” Solanki said.
