The BJP is raising issues of Pakistan and security of the country to hide its own failure during the campaign for Lok Sabha elections, Gujarat Congress president Amit Chavda said on Saturday. He was reacting to the statements by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani.
Lashing out at BJP, Chavda said that farmers in the state are not getting enough electricity or water and when they produce crops, they are not getting remunerative prices in the market. Moreover, while UPA-1 and UPA-2 governments created jobs in rural and urban areas, the BJP-led NDA government has failed to create jobs, creating resentment among the youth. "BJP government is trying to hide its shortcomings by raising issues of security to divert the attention of the voters from real issues," he said.
